Default 996 to 997...

Hey Gang:

Sold my 2002 996TT (with UMW tune and 33,000 miles) and bought a 2007 Atlas Gray Metallic TT. 16,000 miles with a Frequency Intelligent Valve-tronic exhaust and an APR stage-1 tune. This car is such a step forward in creature comforts and power. I am running into a few CEL codes - rich running bank 1 and 2. Hoping this is a simple fix of O2 spacers, but time will tell.

Bought the car site-unseen out of Missouri after a Porsche dealer PPI. I am not going to lie - I had a few upset stomachs along the way.

Never owned an aftermarket exhaust. FI exhaust is interesting - comes with a key fob (on = LOUD, off = "quiet" or auto "quiet until loud"). In auto, the car is tolerable cruising at or below 3,000 rpm. Life is more enjoyable when you are under some load. Dropped my son off at middle school and he told me it sounded like a "hot rod on steroids".

So a few hundred miles, fluid service, solve CELs and back into storage.

Thank you. 05Mdriver. Color blew me away in person.

I should mention the exhaust is catless. I dig that you can hear the turbos spool when you are on the free-way and barely get on it. I am really happy with the sound. I should also mention my son was NOT psyched when "everyone turned and looked at me when you pulled away" - hot rod on steroids. I'll take that. Lesson learned - select "auto or off" when dropping kids at school or out to dinner with my wife.

Congrats! I just picked up an Atlas TT with similar mileage myself. You hit the nail on the head - in person the color is awesome. Got any interior shots?

That's a great car with good mods. I just installed a cat free Tubi onto my car this weekend. OMG it is amazing! I don't have any valves, it just full on when you hit it and tolerable when you drive normally.
Enjoy your new car.

Congrats! Beautiful car, and beautiful color (I also always liked Atlas a lot).

Great plate too! A friend in my office building has the same though spelled differently (See Yahh, I think) (not a Porsche).

You need to add a coordinating rear view mirror decal too: https://www.automotion.com/outside-r...re-losing.html
