Default Will these wheel specs work?

Will these sizes and offsets work on a 997.1TT?

Front wheels: 8.5X19, ET51
Rear wheels: 11X19, ET35

Seems like the front will be about 5mm out from OEM while the rears will be 16mm, little over 1/2 inch.

Yes I think they will be fine. I’m running 7mm/15mm spacers on OEM wheels, so more aggressive up front and 1mm less than these would be.

I'm running an 8.5 width up front ET48 and it is nearly flush with the fenders. ET51 should be fine but will be slightly less than flush.

In the rear I'm running a 12" width wheel with an ET47 offset and it is close to flush with the fender. That is roughly the same as an 11" width with a 34 offset so your 11" with ET35 will look great but you'll be leaving a ton of empty space on the inside of wheel well for a wider wheel and tire package. Not really a big deal. It will fit and look good.

Let me see a down low shot of that booty with 12" rears! I thought with 12" rear guys run a 9" front to preserve the F/R ratios and not fry the diff?

it's not so much the wheel widths, it's the front / rear tire height ratio.

IIRC, when running a 9" front and 12" width rear, 245/35 and 325/30 tires are pry a bit better without getting tire stretch

Funny you should ask. I’m waiting for my custom wheels now and I went with your specs but +40 offset in the rear.

Why? Look up HRE FlowForm wheels, they rock +35 and if you ask me, on OEM springs you start to get a slight poke look, which I’m not ok with.

My thought process is go conservative with custom wheels then use OEM Porsche spacers when you drop it and need a little more camber and flushness.

So I did
F19x8.5+50
R19x11+40

Yeah I certainly don't want to look like a 4x4 - although at some point I would like to lower the car as well.

You are lowered I'm guessing?

Yeah I’ve had GMG springs in for three-ish years.
