WAY off base.

Unloved?!? The only people I would say that don't love this car are people that are totally cray cray time.

These cars are AMAZING and loved by many, many people, some of whom are actually on Rennlist. I suggest you drive one for 5 minutes. That's probably all it will take.

I spent months looking for one and finally got to drive one. In less than 5 minutes I turned around and headed back to the dealer. My friend asked "dude, why are we turning around? They let us drive their car and we drove over an hour to get here. Let's DRIVE THIS THING".

I looked at him and said "dude, there's no need. In about 3 minutes I knew I HAD TO HAVE THIS CAR". This was after owning a mint 993 C4S for 12 years and an 88 911 Carrera for 5 years before that. I just ... knew.

997 TTS is still on my bucket list. Values look to still be in the $90-120k range depending on mileage.

Think these will continue to hold, go down much, or possibly rise due to the 997 being considered by many to be the last true 911 style / driving experience?

I think on average they might have another $5-10k depending on spec of depreciation, but once they are in the $80s-90s for your normal build car, I think that is going to be as low as they go. You can get some with higher mileage currently for around there.

I know nothing about this car or dealer but it seems to be too good to be true. If someone was in the market for a 997 TTS I would definitely look into this. (A PPI would be a must!)
2011 TTS Cab, 10K miles, asking $73,975

And it’s a cab which lowers the resale value...

But to give you an idea of how unloved these are... My local dealer offered me 6 digits for my 2011 gt Silver/Black full leather TTS coupe. Unloved would be the last adjective I would use to describe a TTS...

So, 2012 GT Silver TTS, Black full leather sport adaptive, heated seats, rear park assist, crest on head rest and logo on console lid, Sirius XM, Interior carbon package, Brand New tires all around (Mich,) extremely recent intermediate service (oil/filter/ brake flush, etc) with 30,500 MILES. 2 owners & most records all from a Porsche dealer.
$169,745 MSRP

Selling price range for individual sale???
This going to be a “hold it’s value” car, as long as miles are kept in check?

Miles are a little high. (Anything over 30K is considered high) But otherwise, sounds like a super car. Depending on the condition... paint, seats, etc... $95K-$105K.

Thank you!!

So less than $95k should be a "deal", given a clean bill of health.

I'd say normally driven as intended for a 2012 (roughly 5k per year), definitely not high. Drive your cars folks, nothing to see or worry about here.

For most any other car, I would agree with you. And I would never suggest to anyone not to drive their Porsche.

But when is comes to value, mileage is king in the Porsche world. The most obvious example is with extended warranties. The price drastically increases with increased mileage. Much more so than the year. I would prefer a 2011 TTS with 25K miles over a 2012 with 30K miles...

So what would that 1 year older car and the 5K less miles be worth to you in dollars?

And again, what is one year newer car worth?

I'm just curious on cars like this as too what $ figure "most P car folks" will put on mileage and year model combinations?

When I purchased my TTS last year, I passed on two others purely based on mileage. (29K and 34K respectively) I personally would pass on a high mile car. I couldn’t put a value on it as low mileage was one of my top requirements...

But if the price is right and you are ok with 30K plus miles, go for it...
