Default Holes in chassis front wheel well for drains? Help pls

So PO had moton club sports with remote canisters and quick release shocks. I had those removed and went back to stock. I was thinking the holes I saw in the chassis were where the lines used to run through and I plugged them up with blanking grommets.

Car was at Porsche for some service and the tech said those holes are for draining. I'm confused because I really thought the remote canister lines were run through them.

Can someone chime in if these look like what their car has for drains?

Thanks,

Tom

Default Drain

I have the same. I doubt they are for drains. The current drains ports are open. Both sides of the battery tray which is a fair distance from. The wheel wheel. Plus it would strange to have the exit for water and debris to spew all over the shocks and brake rotor.
