Any info on this TTS is appreciated.
Hey guys. I have a close friend whom I’m assisting acquire a 997 TTS. he’s loving this car. PTS and loaded up. 210 msrp and low miles. Asking a few bucks more than the typical TTSs available online but I assume that’s due to the high msrp and color. Car has 3 owners so far.
If anyone has seen it before or knows anything about the car I would appreciate the info, especially if there’s a story or any issues. Seller claims clean carfax and zero paintwork.
Thanks

I did and found the car was offered for sale (I can't find any date though) in San Jose with 9268 miles for just $99950.
The car has been offered for sale for 57 days at this latest location.
Tread very very carefully.

Copy the VIN into a google search and see what hits come up.

Your friend is a fool................... if he doesn't buy this car!
WOW! If he likes the bright red interior, and I'm sure he likes the exterior, it's worth the extra money to get this car. But why was it for sale someone else a short while back for like $19k less? Unless I misunderstood this? If he could get this for $110k, just... amazing. NO ONE ELSE will ever have the same car. Not many people can say that about a 997 TTS.
The car I looked at was also priced WAY HIGH, and I practically begged the dealer to sell it for $110k instead of it's much higher original price and they simply did. They liked my story, I told them I was looking for one for many months in exactly this color and would take SUCH GOOD CARE of and love this car forever if they could sell it to me for $110k. I might have said PRETTY PLEASE about 5X. They thought about it overnight and sold it to me for my asking price.
They were a big time Ferrari dealer, too. Always grateful to them for this.

I loved reading your post!!! Actually, laughed so hard I nearly had a brain freeze... I could visualize the pleading...the moaning and crying. Sounds like it worked though!!! For me, it usually means the cops are called...I guess saying’ “sell me the car for $??? or I’ll f-ing choke you” is frowned upon. JB

I was going to buy this car at one point when it was in NorCal, this is a one of a kind 997TTS, I don't think you can really compare it with anything else on the market...it's one of those cars where you just have to bite the bullet at any price.
