Pricing Premium for '09 vs '07/08...??

I had an 09 TT 6 Speed before buying my 12 TTS. If I were to go back to a 997.1 TT, I'd buy the one I wanted regardless of year. Actually, the 09's PCM had little to do with buying the car. Color, options, mileage, maintenance history, DME Report, modifications, location and price are the key elements I'd use buying a 997.1 TT. Actually, those are the elements for any car that I'd buy. You'll know it when you find the P-Car that works for you!!! Best! JB

They're all old and out of date, but the PCM 3 at least still looks good and has a better interface. Like an "archaic" 993 interior, it's more timeless whereas the gray 2.0 style is just ugly. I'd be surprised if anyone here would actively choose to keep the 2.0 if they were given the chance to magically snap their fingers and have the 09 interior. It's not a be-all-end-all for picking a car but the difference is a little more than just frou frou silliness.

Ditto - it's all outdated, for a few bucks you can get the latest apple car play or Android auto and you've caught up to 2017.

And a Carrera S is going to depreciate way past below the value of ANY turbo, trust me. Give it a few years. They make tens of thousands of 911s. Only a few turbos.
Oh, and it's the Carrera S that's junk....all you need to do is look at the motor.
