Default I got a lead on an 07 coupe.

Basalt black, 6mt and sport adaptive seats. MSRP is $139k. 12600 miles. Looks very clean. Need PPI.

$75k asking price from dealer.

Seems like a good buy, assuming the PPI is clean and I can get it for $72-$73.

I'm thinking I could drive it and sell it in a few years.

Thoughts.

Sounds good to me. With those miles and adaptives even $75k isn't really a ripoff.

Even at $75k is still a good buy, you won't lose money in a few years. Well, unless you put up 15k a year.

Agreed. I'm guessing these will appreciate quite a bit like last Turbos.

75k is a good buy on that car, with those miles it's barely broken in!

I'm going to take a closer look at it today. I'm familiar with the differences between model year 08 and 09, but did much change between 07 and 08?

Not really. 08s are a lot more uncommon but market values are pretty much the same.

Ok, more details. Picture is a bit different. I just drove the car. It turns out it actually has 29,900 miles. 4 owners. It has fab speed intake, exhaust and load waste gate. Coil overs. Full carbon interior, but some is delaminating. Some of the switches are scratched. Aftermarket red seat belts in the front.

Pretty full service history.

Airbag light on.

Not quite the example I was expecting.

Also, the model options code sticker was missing from under the fronk hood. Front end damage?

Pardon the hijack, but since folks are giving opinions on values and the OP is asking as well.

Thoughts on the one I'm looking at:

2008 Silver / Natural gray
7600 miles
Sport adaptive seats and sport chrono pkg.
New plugs /coils Last month.
Car is perfect and stock.
Fidelity Platinum warranty (only $100 deductible) until July 2020
Xpel on whole front end and mirrors
OptiCoat ceramic on whole car.
GT3RS wheels with brand new Mich.PS4S tires.
Orig. wheels / tires included.

Worth $85 - 90K??

I was told they stopped putting them there on the 997's by a dealer... Can someone confirm this??

Correct, Neither of my 997s or my 987 had them. Last gen to do it was the 986/996.

I have heard it came in the owners manual/paperwork when delivered as new, but dealers were not told/nor did they typically affix it to the car itself. Again, this is what I have heard online but have no proof myself as I have never purchased any of my Porsches new.

Yes I thought at some point it's only on a sticker in the documentation (service book?) package and no longer under the hood.

Some dealers put them under the bonnet, some did not. My 997 had the sticker in the maintenance book.

Sounds like collector quality. Pay $85k, drive it a few thousand miles and I bet it will be worth over $100k down the road. You've seen the 993 market. Although I doubt the the 996TTs will ever get that high in value. But the 997 Metzgers will.
