Default Help needed

camshaft solenoid is the a diy to replace?
code p00021 car runs fine idles fine.
Cleared the code and it has not returned.
Bank 1 was replaced
Is code p0018 bank 1
and p0021 bank 2
thanks.
Oh the car just had a engine out service plugs pinned hoses
water pump clutch slave and accumulator and shark werks elbows.
Would this cause that code in any way.

yeah, replacing the cam solenoid is a doable DIY. Many times, however, this is related to spun camshafts. It may be that the techs forgot to reconnect the solenoid plugs.

I'd poke around in there to make sure everything is plugged in and then pursue cam solenoid.

where can I find the diy I have searched the forum with no luck.
there is also a
hall sensor
actuator valve
Do these tend to go?

Wow, lucky break! Camshaft-related codes are my biggest anxiety with the TT.
