Default The best tool

If you don't have this or something similar... I highly recommend it. It's perfect for tight space where the ratchet can barely be used.

I bought it to help with the top bolts on the transfer case. It made it amazingly quick to remove and install bolts. I also bought the craftsman version, but it's bigger.

I bought one that also has a center pivot. Makes a best tool even better!

I bought that too. It was a little larger than the one I posted. It was too large for the small space I was in, but none the less a useful tool for hard to reach areas with the pivot.

Default Amazon 3 pack

You can also get a three pack of these in different sizes from Amazon for about $11 shipped!

For sure you always need that tool, no matter if you have ALL the OTHER tools in the world.

Harbor Freight also has a three piece set of finger ratchets (1/4", 3/8", 1/2") for a whopping $6. Definitely useful for low torque fasteners in tight locations...

These bit-mini-ratches are also really useful for getting off the hex and torx fasteners Porsche loves to use in low clearance locations... 996/997 non turbo coil packs for example...
