Pretty rare to find a red / black MT coupe 997TT. Think I've seen maybe 2 for sale in the last 3 years in the <30k mile range. Frankly, as an asking price (not sale price), seems fair to me, but I'm admittedly not as current on 997.2TT's vs. Mezger's.

Any takers?

Did anybody confirm if the paintwork is all original?

What makes you ask about the paintwork?
Looks fine to me, plus it's cpo, they don't usually certify resprays to my knowledge.

If you get seriously interested and need me to put eyes on it, shoot me a PM. Definitely happy to help a fellow enthusiast, and especially a member of our armed forces. It's not too far from me - would make for a nice Saturday morning ride.

It is well out of my price range, I was just wondering what the previous owner traded it in for. I have a pretty big spreadsheet going on with selling, and buying prices of Turbos and GTS. Looking at trends and such.

Thank you though! Now...if you want to take a ride...decide you like, and send me a PM that youre now considering selling your Turbo to get into that one...well that would just make these last few weeks of deployment go by so much quicker!! Haha.

It is beautiful. I love black cars, all my cars and motorcycles have always been black with red accents, but to be honest, I have always wanted a red sports car with black wheels.

From what I have gathered, people are trading in the .2 TT for anywhere between mid 70s, to low 80s. Then dealerships selling them for 10-15k more.

Its alittle high for the miles. But they dont make them anymore.

But I will pay for alittle more for clean cars, ie good service records, turn key cars and if no stories.

With my car the markup from trade-in to my purchase price was about $15k CDN ($11.25k U$ using the exchange rate at time of my purchase about a year ago).

Out of that markup I got:
- four new tires (Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 N2)
- major annual service
- CPO check and 2 year CPO warranty
- car cleaned and prepped inside and out

Cherry hill sold it for mid 90s I believe, and then Lease Masters in BK bought it and list it for 15k more.

Same thing they do with every car they find. Still ends up selling somehow.
