07 TT viscous coupler questions.
Am about to pull the trigger on a 07TT with 55K miles on it. Very clean otherwise, but I took her to two different PPIs (I know, OCD)
The first said the center diff was blown. He put it on a lift and tried to spin the rear wheels, and front wheels didn't rotate with it. and said the car needed a new viscous coupler (7K parts + labor).
The second PPI said everything looked fine. I asked him about that specifically and he said its fine.
Who is right? What should I do? Any other signs and symptoms or tests that I can do? Thanks guys.

Considering that 997TT doesn't have viscous coupler, the front drive is controlled by electronic clutch-type center diff, I would ignore everything the first one said....
