Getting rubber off the paint isn't as much of a task as is getting it off the clear bra, at least for me.

I just cleaned up my car a bit and made this video of Molecule Cleaner on tire marks.

I've used Mother's R3, and many other things mentioned. This stuff is the best IMO. Puts a coat of wax down while it removes racing rubber, bugs, etc : FW1 Fast Wax. Spray on and wipe off.

FW1 is by far the easiest I've come across. Easy wipe and leaves a wax finish.

I use Tarminator made by Stoner. It is the best i have ever used at getting race rubber off. Takes it all off in seconds.

Turtle Wax Bug and Tar. It is very effective and only $4. I've used it to rid tire skidmarks with ease on race cars and my helmet (open cockpit). For street cars it works great on bug jerky, gum and other road tar collected from the roads.

Spray on, wipe off.

Bringing back an old post, but I just wanted to comment on this as I made a purchase decision based on this comment. The local auto parts stores in my area did not carry Mothers R3, so I purchased 3M Adhesive remover. Alas I used it on a few marks on my PPF, and it has left massive hazy areas after removing the rubber which I could not buff out with spray way, or scratch/swirl remover or washing over the car again. It may work well directly on paint (but after the marks on my PPF I was afraid to try) but I would NOT recommend it to be used on PPF, or at least test in a small corner first.

I tried Mother’s R3 and it seems to have stripped the ceramic coat on the car. When I went to wash my car after a trackday, water no longer beaded in the areas where R3 was applied. R3 did remove track rubber very easily though.

Try the 3M to see if the results differ.
