It's one of the events of Monterey car week. You go and talk about how that one rock chip next to your mud flap just dropped your cars value by 20k because cars are investments now. Thankfully there's a balance of cars that are not garage queens and we can chat about driving experiences and off roading with 4.0's

Should be called "Automotive Insanity Week". Local hotels/motels offer special pricing ($$$$$) for those staying over multiple days. Pebble Concours wraps it up that Sunday. If your going and don't have friends, relatives living locally, start looking now. I entered in the Concours in '82; drove down in the morning and drove home that night. Everyone else trailered. At that time, you didn't have to drive the car, just show it. Today, tire pressure is a deal breaker.

I'll go if mooty geos. Official Porsche event at Quail Lodge is supposed to start same day at 8pm. Went to minor events the last couple years. Looks like there are plenty of ways to enjoy while staying away from the crowd. Just driving around is like seeing a car magazine come to life.
