Default Anyone using PWR Radiators

Hi All

Just considering replacing my radiators and condensers on 997.2 GT3

I noticed upon maintenance this week that all the fins in the direct air path on the condensers are pushed over from sustained impact and wind pressure the left and right radiators where exposed are have many fins completely blocked

this is an area of maintenance I've clearly neglected over a prolonged period!

Anyway my considerations are PWR, CSF and OEM

PWR are the pinnacle as I see it but dont seem to have the mounting points for the condensers, OEM and CSF do.

I am going to approach PWR to see if they can do the necessary modification for condenser support brackets but failing that I come back to OEM and CSF.

anyway
My primary question here is do any of you run with PWR radiators and have AC condensers fitted?

Pwr are top shelf. All the race cars at my shop use them.
My guess is any good shop can fab any issues.

happily running CSF rads (first set of 996GT2/TT rads produced) for last 3years, 50k street/track .
If you want to run PWR, imagine any half decent fab shop can TIG a few bungs on...

I put CSF radiators on my 06 C2S when I converted to OEM GT3 bumpers last year. I had to flip the center radiator upside down to hook up the hoses. It's working just fine so far for street driving.

After doing it once, I can do the swap in a few hours. It's not difficult at all if you have the proper tools. I plan to replace the front coolant hoses and put CSF on my 997.1 GT3 soon.

I considered the pwr and went with CSF
Primarily based on value and I believe radiators to be a wear item
Happy with CSF

Pwr is largely considered the best per se
They are double the price of CSF (roughly) and not plug and play

PWR are used by Porsche MS so surely the best according to the manufacturer.
I use a PWR centre rad and CSF side rads on the 7GT2 because the CSFs are plug and play.

Thanks everyone

PWR are F1 and local V8 Supercar supplier of radiators and very well respected, and the comment of 2x price is not far wrong.

Latest revision shows they now have the necessary hardware to support the condensers also. so fundamentally a plug and play option.

For what its worth, I have decided to go OEM as I really havent had any issues with them, it just finally reached the point where the fins have bent over from sustained high speed impact with debris that enters past the screens -any radiator would suffer the same fate.

For DAK996 in Kuwait if you are having cooling issues with OEM and you need superior cooling then PWR would be the way to go.
