question about fitting 991 center muffler to a 997gt3...
Anyone know if the oem 991 center section will fit a 997 gt3 (with side bypass pipes)? Trying to source a compatible center muffler and have seen some ads suggesting that the 997 set up is compatible with the 991 center muffler, but would love some confirmation from the experts before I pull the trigger. Thanks!

991.1 GT3 center muffler is same part # as 997.2 GT3. I have a used 991.1 GT3 muffler in my 997.1 GT3 for over a year.

Thanks Tom. That will help, as there seem to be more 991 units on the used market (I'm converting my 996 to a 997 set up!). Scott.
