Default Looking for good discs for 997.1 GT3

Hi,

A friend of mine asked me: do you know any good (better then original) and not as expensive as original discs (cast iron) for his 997.1 GT3.

Any suggestions?

Ive heard that some members here have used the Cayenne rotors for their 997.1 GT3 as a good cost effective way to replace the stock ones. Not sure if they are better than stock GT3 rotors

Does anyone here have any of that info on this or part number?

Turbo rears crack quick so better off using stock rears as they last 3 times longer...for sure.

You are right, I easily got confused by reading cheaper than original and just read it again and picked up on the better than original part

I'm also running the 997GT3 rear discs and they've held up well, 996 calipers have lower rear hydraulic bias but running aggressive PFC 11 rear pads. Will do 997 rear calipers at some point and may try the Panamera slotted rear discs
Cayenne OEM 350mm front discs are solid, I run the ATE discs which are elliptical slotted design

You can get them cross drilled or slotted. About $100 each
