Minor update:
I've ordered a bunch of OEM parts to kind of refresh the car or get it more like I want it.
- Seat Trim Sport Buckets (2 front and back, OEM black to replace the yellow headrest inserts)
- Fresh OEM floor mats to replace the Llyod mats which I'm not fond of
- Fresh OEM alcantara shift ****
- OEM brake/clutch pedal pads + dead pedal so that I can remove the Rennline aluminum stuff
- 997.2 OEM padded alcantara steering wheel (black trim, no marker, essentially a general 911 Tequipment piece that looks like the OEM wheel but black spokes instead of silver-ish for half the price, will sell MACarbon wheel to cover cost)
- 3 OEM oil filter, O-rings etc...
- New hardware for driver's side rocker panel rear underguard (noticed while I was putting floor jack under that it was drooping due to broken plastic clip)
Also ordered the popular Precision Instruments torque wrench...haven't received a tracking number yet.
Next steps:
- Remove mirror uppers, take to body shop to be paint matched
- Fresh oil change...I'm skeptical of that actually being done with the CPO process...
- Take car to Goldcrest or another local Porsche specialist to assess alignment and what else I need to safely start tracking as there are numerous suspension upgrades that I'm not sure the status of
First track day will be June at Road Atlanta most likely and then I'll take it to Charlotte Motor Speedway at the end of July.

I have a lot of updates, just haven't had time to post.
Here's a quick little update in the meantime:
I took the GT3 to the dyno on Friday at the last minute as I had a buddy who was doing some quick pulls to check the progress on some updates to his M4.
After a pain in the *** trying to get an RPM signal, I finally got a tip from Charles at Dundon via phone. I was desperately calling several of the well known Porsche GT tuners trying to get help and they were the only ones that I could reach.
The car put down 402rwhp and 304rwtq on this 2WD Dynojet. Our airflow setup was very primitive. One of the techs (pictured below) tried forcing air straight into the airbox but I recalled Charles at Dundon coincidentally mentioned on the phone running the RPM lead out the decklid with it closed so I figured we'd try running decklid closed and send the air in through the decklid scoop... Sure enough, we picked up peak 3rwhp and 13rwtq just from running decklid closed.
Unfortunately, I don't have a baseline at all let alone on this particular dyno so I'm not sure what sort of difference the BMC filter, side muffler delete, and EVOMS tune make. I also don't think they've ever done a 911 let alone a GT3 before so I don't think there are any cars to compare these numbers to. Therefore I'm only left to conclude that at least they don't seem unusually low though I expected about 410-415 dynojet ponies for these mods.
Pictured below is one of the runs, bearing in mind the best pulls were with the decklid closed and the fan air coming down the rear window.
I'll have to post the chart later as all I have is a photo of the LED monitor and the X axis is time instead of RPM.

Seats?
Hey - thanks for posting all of this - I'm starting this mission as well.
What seats are in your ar now, and what are the weights?
I just purchased the fabspeed valved side muffler bypass - easy way to save 30+ pounds off the rear.
Already did the LWFW, and RS 4.0 clutch. Next will be wheels likely - Oz.

OK, here we go... promised updates. This pretty much catches the journal up from late January until April.
1. Ordered a bunch of OE stuff to "freshen" (or re-OEM) the interior to my liking. New OEM pedal covers, OEM mats, fresh OEM shift ****, OEM black headrest inserts (too much yellow for my taste) and a fresh OEM Tequipment steering wheel (cheaper than the GT3 wheel and the only difference is the black trim which I prefer). I offset virtually all the costs by selling the aftermarket stuff that was in there including the worn MACarbon wheel.
2. First oil change w/ Mobil 1, OE filters. Like my NSXs and my GT4s I had to get the front end up to get a full drain. I don't think the drain locations on any of these cars are really designed for Joe DIYMechanic in his garage with the engine end only in the air
3. Baseline (ish - because the car already has 4.0 flywheel, side muffler delete) weight using my handy set of scales. Full tank of gas. All tools, mats, manuals in car as delivered. 3199 lbs without me in it, 3417 lbs with me. I'd like to get the car down to 3100 lbs as a starting point. I'll be getting myself down a few pounds as well...
4. Mirrors taken apart and shells taken to body shop to be painted Speed Yellow. Looks like the most recent owner had changed them out to raw OE shells in black...I didn't care for that.
5. Did some minor paint correction detailing. Discovered the car had wrapped (tucked) rockers which is another nice bonus and in great shape. The wrap on the front end is a little old (not damaged though) but I was able to polish it up pretty well.
6. Track alignment at Goldcrest Motorsports. They also did a general inspection for me since the car has a lot of aftermarket suspension goodies and I wasn't sure if I had everything I needed or if it was cobbled together. I forgot to fill up the tank before this...it was nearly empty for their weights. Oops...
7. Replaced Numeric Racing shifter (which I discovered was in the car) with a fresh OEM GT3 shifter. Goldcrest adjusted the Numeric for me while it was in the shop for the alignment but after a little driving I decided that it was still not my style. Turns out the OEM GT3 is perfect for me.
8. Did a little driving around one Sunday to feel out everything. Feels like the car is now mine. First track day was June Road Atlanta but I'm debating on a late April Barber with PCA or Roebling Road to go ahead and shake it down.
9. Picked up the popular torque wrench. This thing is huge compared to the ubiquitous Craftsman 150 ftlb unit. Broom-like in fact... Took off one wheel to see what pads were on the car. They are OEM and thickness was nearly new. Also tried to clean the caliper as it seemed to stay dirty...turns out the repaint of the calipers from red to yellow seemed to be low quality and is permanently stained with brake dust. I'll eventually have these refinished by to the OE red...or maybe something interesting.
