Michelin PS4S for GT3
I need new tires for my 2010 GT3 before spring,
I was seaching for some Pilot Super Sports, but they they are impossible to source.
Michelin will have a superior replacement ready in EU in Jan 17 and March 17 for US, but according to the pressmaterial they are all XL spec., no mention of N spec for Porsche?
The list have 235/35-19 and 305/30-19 sixes for the GT3 listet.
Does anybody know more about this this tire, price and specifications?

I've heard anecdotally that it performs as well as the MPSS in the dry,
and has improved wet performance vs that tire.
I *doubt* that they will release an N spec, unless Porsche and Michelin have
cut a deal to use this as an OEM spec on the 991.2s...
I recently switched from the OEM Corsas to the MPSC2's ... awesome tire in the dry.

Michelin told me that these tires perform so well they are going to have to release an updated version of the mpsc2. Dry level performance is almost equivalent.

MPSS aren't N-Spec so why do you need/want n-spec in the PS4?

Oh, yes you are right! I read so much positive about MPSS on the GT3 for steet that I missed that. Anyway, seems like experience have show that to be very capable street tire with good wear behavior.
Speaking of, I saw some comments that the MPSS mounted on the .2GT3 have the outer tire lip on and beyond the rear fender edge. Anyone that can comment?
Is the PS2 less protruding?

What job did your Michelin source do ? I heard from top UK Mich tech guy that the MPSC2 was still some way better for dry performance....

The fronts are already available here in Europe, the rears will be available in March.
I will try the PS4S on the 7.2GT3, and have set on order, just ready for spring here.

Excited to see and potentially got my hands on the MPS4's.
On a side note to this topic, I just got my cert of authenticity from PCNA, and to my surprise, my car was spec'd with Pirelli Tires.
Do you guys know what specific tire was the Pirelli option back in 2010?
