Default Front Axle Lift Options

What are everyone's suggestions or experiences with an aftermarket front axle lift system for a 997.2 GT3, that was NOT originally equipped with front axle lift?

All I am aware of is KW HLS System. Anyone with experience with KW HLS? Where does the button install?

For the cost of the KW system, you can get a whole bunch of front lips. Even with a lift kit, you'll probably still scrape at some point. IMO, lift kit just isn't worth it.

With that said, I think the KW HLS system is decent, I know a couple people with them, and have not had any issues. I've only seen the control button installed in the glove box. There's a video on the KW site that shows the button installed on the dash, but i'd be a little worried about having someone cut through it. http://www.kwsuspensions.net/kw/info/kw_hls/

i'd remote mount that button in the ash tray or something similar.

if i needed to do this the kw system at least you can get parts for it ... i'm sure the pump isn't 13k like the porsche OEM one.

KW seems like a nice solution-the website lacks some detailed pictures but seems to be available for OEM-how does it compare to Techart, if still available?

I have the cargraphic Axle lift on my .1 GT3. It works well but I rarely use it.

the lift is operated by a key fob that I just leave in driver door storage.

Does the Techart version still exist? I like the fact that the TechART version uses a button that is fitted where the garage door opener is.

Any idea on total cost for parts and labor? Where does the hydraulic pump go?

Yup! The TechArt option still is around. The hydraulic pump is neatly stored right next to your battery, and they provide you with a new battery try as well - so there is no extra space taken.

We have done quite a few, and we just completed another one last week. I will shoot you a PM
