I don't care for the mounting points on the roll bar. Too crammed, busy, and upright. Just me.

One thing I've noticed about heavily tracked RS's without protection is the pitting of the paint forward and above the rear wheel well above the OEM sticker. I lot of guys add 3M to the front of the car but overlook that region. Non-RS's don't seem to have the same issue.

I'm out of town this week but if you are still interested and haven't found the help you need by Sunday let me know and I'll go look at it for you.

I walked past it at cars and coffee last weekend and didn't really look very close. Oddly enough the headlights did stick out as slightly weathered but not horrible...just not perfect.

Thanks guys. No rush on my part. But if either of you can easily give the car the once over, that would be great.
From the repeated comments, it seems that the headlight wear is a pretty significant. Not looking for a beauty queen, but it begs the question how the paint on the front bumper and hood has held up. If it looks good, then repaint flags would have to go off.

I used to be a pro detailer...its not hard for me to spot paint work. I think the mention of the headlights not being perfect might be adding tension for you where it's not necessary. I also remember the wheels were really clean (I'm a stickler for this) and it had nearly new sport cup 2's on it. Has red schroth harness etc but I'm sure that's in the photos.

Just an FYI, this car was bought by Penske in Scottsdale and will be listed at 189k; the car was listed at 155k at Byers a week ago before being sold to Penske and had been sitting there for 120 days...

Was ready to make something happen on this, but missed it with some work commitments and didn't have time; sad that it is being marked up over 30k now.

Vin is WP0AC2A95AS783701 in case anyone gets into discussions.

Crazy. After several unanswered emails from the salesman I was dealing with, I moved on and bought another car.

He then finally decides to email me back offering the car for $152. I gave him a snarky reply saying we would have probably had a deal if he actually responded to my inquiries.

I don't know anything about this car other than what's on the website and the fact that it was first owned by a member here. Never got to the PPI stage.

No PCCB's and the painted center tunnel may hurt it a bit, but at that mileage and price, I would have to imagine there's something wrong with it or it would have been gone by now. Either that or all the salesmen there are completely inept.

If someone here moves on it, make sure you do your due diligence.

Well it this RS did not have a story before it sure may have one now. Listed on Cars.com for only $133k with photos taken in front of CA DMV and Smog station showing the car with no rear wing and full of trash and leaves...

That's hilarious as it would take a yuppie to buy it. I'm stoked you were able to catch it! I'll buy you a beer if you're ever in Monterey.

It right by my house. I made a call to see the car but no return call.

I'll keep you posted on how it looks as I'm off all week and have the time to go check it out.

No wing? Price should be 500K because 997.2 911R super rare 1 of 1
