Default FS: OEM Porsche GT3 Lexan rear window (unused)

Hey all, I thought I would post this up here before putting it out on the general for sale forum.

So my best friend bought an oem lexan rear glass piece for his 997.2 gt3, then sold the car. I told him not to get rid of the rear lexan glass as I wanted it for my 997.1 gt3, and then, of course, I sold mine. So, before he ebays it I thought I'd ask to see if anyone is interested on the forum.

It is brand new, oem, still wrapped up with the protective film still adhered. Includes the gasket, as seen in the pic. He only wants 450 (plus you pay actual shipping from Gilbert, Az), so I think that is a pretty good deal. Pm me and I can get you the payment details. Scott.

Sale pending guys. I'll update the thread if none of the folks that have contacted me so far end up taking it. Thanks!

Cmon Scott. This will go great with my lightweight RS spec. I just installed the Manthey door panels and this would be a nice addition. Let me know if the main buyer backs out.

Any pics of the manthey panels? Been considering those but don't like the idea of taking out the side airbag.

Should be shipping out today. Sorry all, first come first serve (although local would have been simpler!!!!!). Thanks!

It's about a 6lb difference. Lots of easy ways to lose that weight on the car and not have to deal with all the lexan issues.

It weighs 7.7 lbs while the OEM glass is 16.4 lbs., so a savings of almost 9 lbs. high up in the car. Great mod if you're not daily driving the car.

Might be worth pointing out that this thread is pretty old and I believe these windows are next to impossible to get currently.
