Oil filter Wrench Sizing, .1 GT3
I took much advice from many RL about DIY oil change on my GT3. Ive changed out brake pads but got scared off of oil changes in 911s by mechanics and others due to 2 drain plugs, lots of oil, etc.
Anyway, the filter wrench size recommended was 75mm 14 flute. I could only locate a 76mm 14 flute in my area and it worked perfectly on the GT3 filter.
I am not sure if the 75mm recommendation was even accurate, but the 76mm did fit perfectly. $7 at PepBoys.
