For what it's worth I had a 997.1 GT3 in identical spec, I was told this was essentially a Porsche "launch edition" config for the USDM 997.1 GT3's.

Agreed and you’re right that was his car now that I think about it. He started it out at $199k if I remember right.

Some people have mentioned that BaT was not the place to sell these cars, I'm wondering if this thought has changed as $180k seems very right for that car.

I still think BaT can be a crapshoot but yes, this price seems close to be being correct. Still a little low to me but it's obviously the market at the moment. I think it has the advantage of reaching out to buyers not on Rennlist who while they understand and value the car the most seem to also be the hardest to sell to. That car is a perfect example of used 7.2 RS. There was a time not too long ago where that car would have fetched 200K in a heartbeat.

Don't forget that after the BAT fee this is 185k which is within margin of error of your estimate.

I always forget that. Well, then it was pretty much market correct. Thank you.

Hmmm looks like Road Scholars had it for $225: https://classics.autotrader.com/clas.../911/100958821

Now they have it for $185: https://roadscholars.com/current-off...-3-8-for-sale/

What do you want to know?

- As many as 3 owner car was in TX then had MT registry then CO.
- Ad states 'this is the rare color combination of White, with White Gold accents' - not true 50 in North America in this spec per PORS9 Registry App which is about 22.5% of production in White. That's not 'rare'.
- Miles are good. Worth $165k in today's market. Asking $225k is insane. At $185k there are no buyers.

I agree with this price. Low miles but stripper. No yellow brakes and no full leather. Has the car been welded or pinned? You can easily spend 10-20k on these cars even though they show as prestine. DAMHIK. haha
