Default Put some new lighter weight wheels on my GT3 and a new lip

I've owned my GT3 for about a year and a month now and there's two things I always wanted to do but never got a chance to do it due to my crazy schedule. 1. My front lip has been through hell and back and needed a replacement (or 2 or 3)
2. I wanted to change up my wheels with something that looks a little more aggressive then my factory wheels and I wanted to keep the same tires so the same dimensions where pretty much what I was looking for

This should have been done ages ago

my rear wheel weight

the weight of my front wheels

Here's the weight of the replacement wheels

Here's the weight of my new rear wheel

Above is the weight of the new front wheel

These are Vorsteiner VFF101. 19x8.5 w 45 offset and 19x11 with 48 offset. Left the rear factory spacer on. No rubbing. I just did an hour in the canyons.

I have never thought that Porsche always hits a home run with their wheel designs, and the GT3 OEM rims remind me of a flower. Your new wheels look so much better.

Nice looking car, congratulations.

All the best...

Beautiful fitment on the car. Your acceleration feel should be immensely improved with all of that unsprung weight improvement!

The steering feel is more responsive when I was in the canyons and in acceleration i can definitely feel a difference. I'm going to spend more time driving up in the mountains this weekend to see how it functions but from the hour I spent earlier today in the canyons, I like how it feels.

the more bumpy the road is, the more you will note a difference, as the wheel will follow the road surface a bit better. Also, there will likely be more a more noticeable feel in braking response than in acceleration, as the effect of less rotating momentum is spread out over a shorter time interval than in acceleration.

But then what could I know, as I took college physics twice.

all the best....

Noticed the Hankook rubber? How are they working? How long have you run them?

Love your new wheels.
