Last run in Germanys Black Forrest before hibernation
Last Weekend i met some buddies from Germany for a last ride in the Black Forrest southwest of Stuttgart. Since i'm from Switzerland it took me almost 3 hours to get there. BUT: the route includes a lot of unlimited German Autobahn and therefore the possibility to let it go
It was risky because over here in mid November snowfall could happen everyday. but we're lucky and got a sunny day with almost 18 C. So it wasn't a problem with the summer tires on and grip was perfect.
We've decided to keep the group small to make it easier for the cars following. Hell yeah we had a lot of fun, burned some fuel and robber and enjoyed a proper German meal afterwards.
Some impressions from the run
On the way back to Switzerland i've dediced to stop in a forrest for some more pics: green power in the green

really nice photography, thanks for sharing. It brings back memories when I was in Southern Germany, Schweinfurt, Kitzingen, back in '69-70, when there were no speed limits anywhere except in the towns and cities. And our sports car club would run from town to town, fast as we could go, in the sports cars of the time, Alfa's, TR's, Tigers, Porsche's, Lotus when their owners could get them to run. I still have a tiny trophy from the Kitzingen Sports Car Club on my bookshelf.
I have a lot of fond memories of my time in Bavaria, so long ago. A least up to the time I deployed to Vietnam, and my wife ran off with a lawyer.
thanks for the pictures,
all the best....

A great way to finish the year! Do snow tires become mandatory in Switzerland?

Glad the weather cooperated with you and the group had a great time. We will be able to drive here but only on a limited basis when weather permits. Thanks for sharing and some very nice cars.
