Aftermarket tpms
Hi guys
Tpc inactive just started popping up and I've started looking for new tpms sensors and came across some aftermarket units.
Is there any problems with the aftermarket units? Or should I stick with very costly oem tpms?
Oh one last thing 997.1 gt3 runs the 433Mhz units? Both tire track and pelican parts listed this Mhz for my 07 gt3
Thanks
Phil

lots of cars run the 433 mHz units, I know BMW does also. I think there are only a couple of frequencies used on cars. I just replaced four with OEM on my daughter's five year old Mini, not much cheaper to buy at dealer than on line. But Porsche does cost a lot more.
While lots of folks like to disable the alert feature, I like it on our GT3, as with low tire pressure and such a low sidewall tire, it doesn't take much to ruin a tire, or make a spirited run dangerous. My local Discount Tire can also order Huf units much cheaper for our cars. You might also give them a call.
