Latest track video Circuit of the America's Nov 15th
It rained on and off all weekend, which for some is a problem, and for others is an equalizer, assuming you've driven Mosport in the rain.
Any footage with a yellow hood or a star spangled wristband, I'm driving. I rented a Yellow 2014 Cayman S.
Enjoy!

Great video!!
On a side note, at 1:42 there is a red Ferrari that spins... Everyone is taught to leave your foot on the brake until the car STOPS!!! He is almost stopped and lifts off the brake... Causing the car to change direction unexpectedly!! Great driving by the KTM to avoid the idiot.

Driver of the Atom is a fellow Rennlister and ex 997 GT3 owner, FLM911. Great Driver with serious intestinal fortitude, and a new member of the Eccentrics.
It rained on and off all weekend, I think I saw the makings of a dry line halfway thru one session, then more rain. The grip was inconsistent, made for very tricky conditions.
Thanks.
One of the guys is a member of a track in Arizona, that rents the Cayman. We shipped the car to COTA, price was far less than shipping the GT2 to COTA and back. I questioned my decision, but given the weather, alls well that ended well.
GT2 with Hoosiers would not have been an ideal choice for that weekend, still managed to hit 140 mph on the pit straight... GT2 @ Mosport on the backstraight Just over 160mph, would definitely have been faster at COTA
Next Time!

I wish I had video running when I went through turn 10, which is a blind apex, to find a fox (maybe coyote) running across the track from left to right. I kept trying to get the car to hang left while he was hauling *** to the right.
Not sure how close we got but I was pretty sure my car was going to end up with a new fur coat. Luckily for both of us it didn't happen.
You just never know what each lap will bring.

You are very lucky to be in close proximity to such a wonderful track!
How about the speed limits on the hwy. In Ontario max speed is 60mph,
I'm pretty sure I saw 75 on one of the hwy's in Austin.

Not unless they determine it to be reckless driving.
I've been ticketed for 105 in a 60 and 107 in a 55. Both times were simple, albeit expensive, tickets.
