I did on my previous car. Requires drilling 4 holes on the bumper for the center grill, and 2 holes and cutting 1 slit for each side grill. One shot to get it right on a $3K bumper. No stress or anything... I actually had to remove the bumper, strip out all the ducting and wiring down to only the bumper skin to install the hardware from the inside. It was a lot harder than it looks. I think if I tell customers I have to charge 5 hours of labor to install bumper grills they'll think I'm nuts but it did take that long to do it.

While you are doing this, I would also recommend this:
Made with 3/16 stainless steel frame 1/2 inch welded stainless screen. $250 for the pair. You can get them from Gary at Capital City Motorsports.

do not use the PMNA screen. if you look at it too long, it bends out of shape. use cargraphic or DIY screen. do a search here, speedoflight had a DIY post.
i prefer to risk it.

Wow those are nice, but $$$. Is the opening opened more for airflow on the street car?
This was ~ $5 and about 30 mins of labor. Home Depot, rain gutter section, gutter screen in black galvanized steel. Cut to shape, fit into spot (easy to bend), drill 2 holes for zip ties, mount. Hard to tell by the pic, but the size of the screen is about 3/8"
Regarding fronts, I have cargraphic on mine and the look nice, mount on inside of bumper, and are functional, work very well.

I know i'm dragging up an old thread here but i hope you guys might be able to answer my question
Regarding the side grills:
With the motorsport grills 997.505.323.90 & 997.505.324.90
If i use the motorsport Retaining Frames 997.505.987.00 01C & 997.505.988.00 01C
Does that avoid the need to cut a slit in the bumper for the side grills? (eg the retaining frame has the recess/slit already moulded into it)
thanks

For what it's worth the retaining frames aren't expensive. I wouldn't touch my bumper skin with a drill or saw but I view my screens and retaining frames as disposable. I was half the way up the coast when a rock took out one of the radiators on my second GT2. Fast forward 15 years later and I bent my 997 Motorsport grills into shape and then attached the side grills to the retaining frame with Wurth
Bond and Seal. I attached the center grill with small
pieces of black 3M industrial tape. Mickey Mouse? Yes.
One hit and done? Probably. But I'd rather replace a
screen or frame than a radiator 100 plus miles from home.
I'm not recommending my approach it's just something
else to consider. JBO BTW i'm with J I think the Cargraphic screens are much better than the PMNA screens and they don't look like they came off a Rentley 300
