Agree with the Hogwash statement. Would love to have a 2RS but not for the price differential. The GT2 is a fantastic street car. Gobs of power, civil ride, GT handling and dependable. By far, the best "value" for the buck in the lineup at the moment. "No regrets...not one". :-)

Joe, if you want a closer look at the 997 GT2, let me know. I live on the west side.

Excuse this dumb question, but is there a particular year that you speak of, for this GT2?

I think the 997 GT2s were only produced for MY2008 and perhaps a small run of MY2009

Correct. A very small # slipped into MY2009, and had the advantage of a slightly updated PCM.

I really want a 993 GT2.

Would have to reg out of state, though. Which is fine, I suppose, but ugh... I wish living I'm CA wasn't such an annoyance with respect to cars.

Joe T, what's the thought on the 7GT2?
As I said earlier...it is hard to tell them apart on the street...RS is the BigBoy but the 7GT2 is the deal in this market.

I never had the pleasure of driving a 2RS but I really enjoyed the rush of the GT2 on full throttle. I really like the car. The steering seems to be much more precise and lighter than my recollection of driving my 07TT. Pricing seems right too.
