My new 2011 997.2 GT3 (speed yellow)
Hello!
I've been reading this forum for months and collected plenty of useful information that helped me finding my dream car.
After seeing/testing a few cars I've found this pristine 2011 GT3 car with 16k km (10k miles), never tracked, 1 owner (Porsche AG management car) and of course Porsche Approved Warranty (certified).
The car comes with almost all options: front lift, clubsport (fixed carbon buckets), PCCB, navi, dynamic mounts etc..
I was a bit skeptical about the color at first (too flashy?) but it's growing on me. Overall i'm really amazed with the car. It's my first 911, directly before i had BMW 1M which was a special car too, but driving the GT3 feels like an occasion every time, it's so precise and mechanical. Sometimes missing the torque on motorway but the noise and steady power delivery make up for it.
Planning to use it as weekend toy maybe with occasional track day now and then. Just signed up for a Porsche Performance training in Leipzig (Germany).
Posting some pictures below.
Regards

Very nice, looks like a great place to drive and the weather is nice :thumb up:
When I was in Switzerland it was nothing but grey skies, wrong time of year I suppose
Get some bug remover spray

The 997.2 GT3 is the most reliable and best "driver" GT Porsche has produced to date. Add to that the fact you get to use it in a region of the world which has roads & tracks that are ideal for this machine and one quickly realizes you are in rarified GT ownership company. Congrats on getting to experience the very best of both worlds!

Congratulations on your GT3, she looks stunning. You have one of the best cars in the world and you're surrounded by some of the best driving roads in the world... Enjoy in good health.

Many thanks for all complements! She does bring a lot of attention, still getting used to that. The city where i live is in the triangle between France and Germany so indeed plenty of driving opportunities!
So far only modification to the car was changing tires from Pilot Cups to Pilot Super Sports as we do get plenty of rain. Noted tiny drop in immediacy of steering but nothing major. Do you think i should increase tire pressure vs MPSC?
