I did this last week to expose rear shock towers to investigate roll bar connection. Simply dig fingers underneath bottom portion pull up half an inch and slide toward front of car. The shelf isn’t connected by anything other than it’s form, one minute off and two minutes back on.

TY . I started doing that with firm grip from center and started to slide out .... Didnt want to force cuz i thought it might and somehow attached under and behind side black plastic cover. Will attempt again
