There's 2 cars being discussed in this thread--the car you are discussing and a US car that was for sale for the past 16 months or so at a BC Porsche dealer here in Canada. And yes those are my seats

as the owner of a 2008 cobalt blue GT3, I must say, this is a moronic post of epic proportions...

how about "don't buy from a dealer, they're all crooks"

or, "don't trust white guys"

anymore broad stroke gems up your sleeve?

If you think I was being remotely serious, there's only one moron here and it's definitely not me.

FWIW I love cobalt blue and secretly kind of wish mine was! (although my favorite blue of all time was the Interlagos Blue on my E46 M3. Might still pick up an early E90 M3 as a daily to get that color again!)

Cheers to all on this holiday weekend

Wow! The trashed car thread that won't die! Good looking out everyone! I'd be interested to see when a dealer will finally wave the white flag! LOL

I think it was the responsibility of the dealer to do his homework on the car before the transaction. For once dealership got screwed.... it is a premiere! Which is hard to believe
How is this a quandary at all? Why is this even a question?

Lies are lies, regardless of to whom they are being told. An error of omission is a lie.

You can't jump on a dealer for failing to disclose the history on a car when you admit that you might not disclose the same history to the dealer in order to make out better on your trade. That's fraud right there - lying for a financial advantage.
There's a serious double standard going on in this post, given that the entire thread is castrating a dealer for not disclosing the damage history on a vehicle.
