Here's a special one: '11 GT3 RS Riviera Blue
For those who are in the market for a '11 GT3 RS, here's a special one. Not sure if someone has brought this up already. No affiliation.

yes, that is my dream car at this point - though I think I would spend the $ on more cowbell (4.1).

I did read your initial post.
Mooty, you're like a God in these parts, when you speak I listen. It took me half an hour to decipher your post(I did use Google and Wikipedia in the process),but in the end,it all became clear. It brought a tear in my eye and made me rethink my position about Byers. I did change my initial post too. I've also realized I'm a talker,no action,so I'll have to put my money where my mouth is...

was not directed at you at all.
mainly i am saying there are deals out there. but you have to gamble on it. most dealers will pay out, with no PPI, no DME etc.... and soemtimes they end up with garbage which they have to put in money.
legally they cannot sell you car with tires with less than certain amount of tread left. i have bought cars from private parties that really are rolling on what you would think are F1 slicks. the operative work being "SLICK".
i always wondered how the dealers (sales dept) stay in business. let's just say they often paid more than we think they did. and if they paid lower then they were willing to pay, they usually pass the saving along. i dont quite understand that logic. to me, my buy and sell prices are not linearly related.
i usually have no issues with asking price of dealers. they can ask for the moon, and i can say NO.
what i take issues with, like with CARLSEN PORSCHE, is i was sold a msrp RS. upon arrival the story become "your rs is here, it's $50k over".....

I think with many of the dealers they bring in these high-line cars as traffic generators. Their cost of holding the car, most likely some stupid-low interest rate loan or internal funding, floor space, is not high. The traffic it brings to the store very well may make that cost a good investment relative to other forms of marketing spend. If they get what they ask for the car, BONUS. Also gives the GM something cool to drive.

You can buy 997 TT with a manual in the 60K's all day long. Dealers are practically giving them away. Funny how PDK only TT's have not driven up the 997 manuals like the GT3.
Too bad I dislike turbos, otherwise I would scoop one up for a daily driver.
