this car is under $200k now, getting closer to realistic price? $170-180k?

The interior is way tacky, but it can be fixed.

Also the wheels are not factory painted black. They were painted after owner took delivery. For that price I would like everything to be original, although the black looks good.

Could always buy new wheels and run these anyway I guess but you're right about what you'd want for that price.

Also, has lexan rear window which was dealer installed (why it was sold through McLaren and not Pfaff CPO).

When it first popped up in the US it was listed at $224,000!!!!

Actually, it was listed at $230k. Byers; good times!

It's been on the market forever. $230k->$225k->$220k->$200k.

Default Byers....

I remember dropping in there looking around while they were servicing my wife's TT that broke down while in Columbus.

Was looking at a MKII upgrade... Or at least kicking it around.

This car was on location along with about every GT2RS in the US for sale..

I kind of gave the guy a hard time about the price and he basically told me I am not the type of buyer they are looking for...

CLEARLY...

"You mean a sucker willing to overpay?"

Although, in all fairness, the Riviera Blue car, as spec'd, is $205k MSRP.

as much as we complain about the price, imho this rs is collectible. someone can replace these seats with Recaros, track it a few thousand miles, put it away and wait for the market to catch up. i love that color.

Doesn't matter what it is. Dramatically overpaying for anything is never a wise decision.

That said, I think the price on this car is much fairer now.

I have a question, would anybody be wary of buying it as a driver and not just a pure museum piece. With such low miles, would you guys be afraid that seals and gaskets are going bad?

Not yet.

But, to be honest, if it's kept indoors in a climate controlled garage, I wouldn't be worried. Especially if it was serviced as required (annually, at minimum).

There are a few 3.8 RSs for sale that have been sitting for six months or so because the asking prices are so high.

everyone is different. I like to buy very low mile cars then drive it a lot. others think they should buy hi milers if they plan to add miles. I like to be the one who outs the miles in.

I found out that RL is like .0001% of the mkt. and believe me there are ppl who will pay 200-300 for that car. I've seen pol pay for things that I cannot explain. when u must have it, then u must have it..... recently a prop listed for 1.9 MM sold at 3.2... u tell me if that's logical....

Never understood the infatuation with these Richard Petty blue colors
I would not pay one dollar more for that color

The only thing missing is a "43" on the door

+1000 on the blue themed interior. One look and turn the page.
