It's an easy conversion. I did mine with silver oem straps. Sun coast sells a full kit. I thinking took me 4 hours total and I'm slow. Replace door insert, pull panel to replace Bowden cable, replace handle actuator, install strap and trim plate. Yellow straps would be custom. Oem had red black silver. It's 100% reversible.

Ordered the kit from Suncoast with the black straps. I know Arling had some yellow straps made at some point. Emailed him to see if he still has any left.

Do you guys like the pull straps better than the handles? Reason I ask is because everyone I know who has an RS with pull straps doesn't like them lol. They prefer the older pull handle.

Akara1, since you are going custom why not some green ones. I know you went through the trouble to have your seats changed to green stitching when we talked about that in the past.

If Arling doesn't have the yellow, I may go custom green. But I also figured the yellow will tie in nicely with the steering wheel center strip.

Yes it's is silly easy to make the strap. Just get right nylon cable and sew the little black tab on.

Like is a strong word :-) they're fine and it's an rs, it should have pull straps! This and removing the leather for alcantara in my stripper are the only cosmetic mods I've done.
