Default 997 Euro GT3 Seats FS

Posted these in the For Sale Section a few weeks ago but not much action so re-posting in main GT3 section. Thanks

Bill

FS: Pair of factory Euro GT3 (Carrera GT style) buckets.

Perlon with Carbon fiber backs
Complete package includes both seats, brackets & side rails, mounting hardware and set of new LONG factory Porsche belt receptacles.

Seats are in perfect condition with no wear or pilling; backs are perfect and scratch free. Drivers side bracket has a few marks where bolts are mounted. Overall condition 9.9/10
Street use only no track, so no issues with bolster wear, sweat or harness scratches

These are the correct seats for a 997 GT3 and much more comfortable than the GT2 sport buckets. These are the seats that came in the Euro cars. Perlon seats are lighter than leather and (main advantage) do NOT show bolster wear as do the leather seats.

Seats sell new (Suncoast discount price ) for $17,900

Selling for $7800 + shipping. Seats are in suburban Atlanta,Ga area.
Would love to sell to someone in SE (can deliver).

A few pics attached when they were mounted in my (now sold) '07 GT3.
I have add'l detailed (large) pics that I can send via email if needed.

Thanks and pm with any questions

Bill

No I didn't only because the 3.8RS had the "GT2" buckets standard
But the GT3/CGT seats are MUCH better...backrest angle is less "upright"
Doing some work on the house so need the cash
Would love to sell to someone local (paging allans...Jenks12M...)

Hey Allan,
Give me a call and lets discuss....
Yes they are direct fit and you should fit fine...super tall, wide or big shoulders (ie Jenkins) will not fit but you will be fine. Feel free to stop by and check them out.
Check PM please

These are the seats the car should've come with from the factory.

FWIW, any US spec. P car owner looking to retrofit these seats should seriously consider adding the energy absorbing bumpers which are installed on the doors inside of the cabin. This is how it is done for GT cars from the factory in order to help reduce the risk of injury to both driver and/or passenger in the case of a side impact.
