<begin sarcasm> Only if you want to go fast and not wear out your rear brake pads. <end sarcasm>

Joe's a drifter. Mikymu's a spinner.

And just remember... Nobody with a good car needs to worry 'bout nothin'. You understand? Nobody with a good car needs to be justified.

Great stuff, thanks for the vicarious thrills. My adrenaline went off scale when that Camaro spun in front of you. That could have been ugly. No need for coffee with videos like that

I couldn't agree more. That was a code brown moment for sure.

24Chromium -- good job of staying out of harm's way. I could just feel your quick braking response and rapid assessment as you contemplated driving further left to avoid that guy. Yikes!

What do you think that Camaro driver did wrong to cause that rapid spin at Turn 10 (at 6:30 on 24Chromium's video)? Too much throttle with some right steer input? I can't imagine he would lift there. And it seemed to be well past the crest of the hill, so he wouldn't be unweighted still, would he? It looks like he suddenly applied the parking brake!

so, what is next?
Interesting track event coming up Aug. 3rd Sat. 4pm-12am Willow Springs "streets of willow" counter clockwise. I'm signed up, hope to see other RL folks.
Beat the heat, drive on track at night.

I'm not affiliated with this event, just signed up to practice my driving.

Spin wasn't surprising as his driving up to that point was sloppy. Lots of missed apex's.
