some pictures showing the front clip replacement and the install of the new fenders including the piece back by the door that holds the fenders that had been cut off.

no, not crashed. until 1977 the tubs were not galvanized so they suffered from rust. The front pan was rusted around the suspension bolt-on points. So that is a mid-1980's front clip welded on.
