Opinions on this green .1RS?

Lots of car n coffee guys put roll cage for looks. It is like putting GTR BBK on P turbo and showing up at local coffee meet.
Not saying the car was just for show or not... I personally wouldn't care if it was tracked. I would care if mechanically, the owner took care of it and gave it a good rub down after each event.

The factory roll bar is a rare item no longer offered for sale in north america. Bonus if the car already has one dealer installed!
The RS was delivered in Europe with the roll bar already in the car so it almost like having a "euro" spec RS.
If the RS is young enough it may actually have the factory roll bar mounts in the car!
This green car looks to be as good as any.
The side stripe delete keeps it looking current and best of all there is no sport chrono on the dash!
I would take it.

car has been discussed many times on many boards
Was tracked thus decreasing value
High miles, GT2 seats removed
They've sat on that car for a long time
Several who checked it out came away unimpressed by both the car and the seller
Buyer beware
wsh

There was a green no decal rs for sale at a local used car dealer here in my area several months. It sat a short time then ended up at another used car lot...then i never heard of it again. That car had about same mileage, same crappy seats, cant remember if it had roll bar. Probably same car.

I like how their description of how the car was not tracked and was driven by a doctor and porsche dealer for 21k miles... that's cool... cept that the car is listed with 25k miles.

Thanks for the info and background story. The VIN isn't listed so I couldn't do a registry check. Wasn't sure what to make of the mileage and the statement that it's not a track car. I can understand 25k if it was a DD but then it seems odd to keep the roll bar installed. The seats are not standard?
I really have a soft spot for green .1RS's but it sounds like this one is not honestly represented and expensive to boot.
drl, I'm curious, which lot? The one near Swami's on 101?

chandrew - Doh! Jeez, how did I miss the VIN pic?! Thanks.
Nizer - Not sure if your comment was meant for me, but personally I'd prefer a car that's been responsibly tracked, especially an RS.
Thanks Akara1, PM on the way.
