Default Brake rotor recommendations

I have PFC08's on the way to replace the OEM pads on my 997.1 GT3 (2007), and I want to replace the rotors while I'm at it. The car is mainly street driven although it also does see track duty. Any recommendations for rotors, and where to buy them from? OEM rotors from Suncoast are around $1K front and rear.

From researching the forum, it seems like a lot of guys are running OEM rear rotors and PFC slotted fronts. Where are folks buying the PFC rotors from?

Thanks for any help.

I purchased PFC rotors and pads from http://www.apexperformance.net/ at a fair price.

vividracing.com provides the Brembo 2-piece slotted steel rotor replacements and I have found them to last at least 4 times as long as the standard drilled steel rotors on the track.

Eddie correct me if I'm wrong but the advantage to going with PFC over brembo is the PFC disk is thinner and allows to use a thicker, longer lasting pad, right?

I'm almost positive that you cannot fit a 19mm on Brembos, but I could be wrong.
I believe you're right about it. I only had brembos a hand full of times over the past few years.

Drew,
997.1 will not take the PFC slotted rotors unless your car was a original PCCB car converted to
steel. PFC slotted rotors are made to fit PCCB converted to steel cars or all 997.2 cars. PFC slotted rotors are 378MM believe your current rotors are 350MM.
PFC does make 350MM dimpled rotors but they only take 17mm pads because of thickness.
PFC slotted rotors are thinner and this is how they take the thicker pads.

Drew keep the stock pads for the street...the PFC08 pads squel like crazy and have a real dirty pad dust to them. Also street pads stop better when cold on the street but for a race pad the 08's don't do bad stopping on the street.

Mike, they don't squeal specially compared to pagids.
Any good race pad will have residue.
Best all around pads out there

I used Pagid Yellow front and black in back and currently have PFC08's all around on the car and they both are loud as heck on the street. For some reason even on the track my pads squeal.

You're gonna love your PFC 08 pads, if your car is non PCCB you can run cheap cayenne rotors that will last just fine. Keep, the rear OEM nut add .2 rear brake ducts.
