Default Joining the RS Club

I had been holding out for a 2014 GT3 but had been surfing the web for an RS just for fun. One evening last week a new GT3 RS popped up only 6 miles from my house. Guess it was meant to be because I just bought my new, to me, 2011 GT3 RS. 4900 miles one owner, never tracked, garage kept and covered, in service date of Nov 2010, so 2 years left on the warranty. Showroom condition, basic car, $113K. I guess deals, at least I think it's a deal, are out there. I stumbled into this if truth be known.

Anyway, it's at the dealer today for it's 2 year service, plus SRF brake fluid flush, alignment, and full front clear bra. I can't wait to drive it. Roll bar and harness next.

Gratuitous pic attached.

sweet colors and price.... with those wheels you can remove the red graphics and look clean.

you did very well. I can see why you bought it!

Thanks all. I'm realy torn regarding the graphics. Part of me wants to keep it box stock and the other likes the clean look. I think with the silver vs red wheels it is at least a bit more understated, if that's even possible with an RS. We'll see.

I had a 10 GT3 that I traded for a 12 GTS about a year and a half ago so it will be a big transition from what I've been driving. Obviously a very different car. Going to break it in at Sebring on Nov 11.

Thanks, I thought so too. I have already been offered more for it but no way I'm letting it go. Most of what I have seen is in the $120 + range. Very honest, open seller. He was offered more as well but stuck to our deal. Great guy. I really think this is a unique car that has legs as far as from a Porsche historical perspective.
