Back up camera, For my RS...? Stupid ?

A recent thread about purchasing taller supports for the rear wing of a GT3 RS is great, will finally be able to see out of the rear window, however I worry about the additional down-force generating more oversteer at the track.

Is it possible, has anyone heard of, a back up camera, that can be retrofitted, to a 2011 GT3RS with Full Nav. system.

Using the RS off the track, around town, necessitates, backing into parking spaces, I can't see a thing!

i wouldnt bother..... the only back up camera should be in a support truck or rv.

Yep, I agree, but, i really can't see a thing behind me, Would feel pretty foolish, damaging the car, on the street, not even on the track...lol.
Over the next few years, most street cars will come standard with Back-Up cameras.

Any ideas? .... Just please don't tell me to buy a Hundyai... haha

I was looking for electronics options for my '12 Chevy Silvarado work truck and they have plenty of units that have a backup camera. Go to your fav car audio shop.

A higher wing generating more downforce would potentially create understeer, not oversteer. It's easily compensated for by reducing the angle of attack of the wing. Same amount of downforce as stock, less drag - it's actually an ideal situation.

if somebody here knows how to get audio/visual to appear on the navi screen, then you could run a camera above the license plate for rear vision. It would also be a bonus view for D.E track day videos :)

If you cannot connect audio/visual to the factory navi head unit, then an aftermarket head unit/navi system would do the job....

Raise the wing and get a Cup splitter.
