I think "Aubergine" is one of the unrecognized great colors in the history of Porsche. Sadly, after 30 or 40 years on a drab and dreary old "long nose" example, it tends to be unloved, but I happened to get my first drive in a '73 RS clone that was in unrestored, but immaculate Aubergine and it completely changed my tune. Bravo.

I think "Purple Reign" is a tad too "artist formerly known as" for me, but this car has personality and it will find its own name. I don't think it's a shrinking violet. : )

When's the first track day? Any chance you're at Laguna at the end of the month?
