Izzone drove my car at the lowest power output ("base" map) of about 575whp. At Autobahn (south track, not very big) I was on one step up from that map (620 whp). Keep in mind, I have 4 more maps above that level to a maximum output of over 800whp- so OE SC interferes with my ECM programming at all levels.

We must be making a lot of HP, even on the base maps!

FYI, 730hp is not the limit, and since it's a torque limiting device- we should not use HP as a measurement, but ftlbs or Nm. I would venture to say (complete guess) 500ftlbs of torque at the wheels will trigger the SC, because I didn't see this issue with the stock block build until maximum boost maps were used. 730hp may be the limit for Toby though, since his car makes significantly less power overall than mine, which bumps OVER 800HP at the wheels on the big boy maps running C16 cut 10% with 93 octane street gas.

Bringing this back from the dead... I finally have the spring info taken off the actual Ohlins springs in question. I'll cross post this to 997gt3north's "Tender Springs / bumpy tracks (Sebring) / suspension upgrades etc..." thread for future reference.

rear 05173-07/7/80 helper spring
rear 01096-93/230 L2110 main spring
front 05173-12/7.5/60 helper spring
front 25039-12/120/75 L2010 main spring

Why won't Champion post over here. Do they something against Intellectual Rhetoric? Or are they just bound to the 15 to 19 year old schisms and quips at 6speed?

Car runs great. Last month I drove it from Chicago to Orlando in 15 hours with my tire trailer behind it. 1100 miles averaging 73mph @ 19mpg.

This place and 6speed are owned by the same company. No reason to double dip, they are also at teamspeed but I don't post there either. In any case they are only a phone call or email away if you need any info on their products.

Different level of scrutiny over here, 6bling is an easier sell ?

Peter-

Maybe sometime in November for a day trip? Won't be on Cups, my track wheels are still up north. They will come down in Feb along with my third kart and workshop stuff.
