having just got a RS and still have the regular, I know what you mean about hitting the redline so quick without knowing it.

See you at Road America this summer (mancation).

Fantastic acquisition. The RS is totally set up. Looks great without the side graphics.
The RS needs nothing, oh well maybe a Champion Motorsport 4.2L build
Enjoy in good health.

Thanks!

I'm getting the dealer to put the red side graphics back on. I thought it'd be cheaper for me to remove them if I don't like them, than to buy them and put them on.

great car, congrats.

only thing i have in my mind, just from observations from events i did - i really wonder what percentage of those people who buy brand new GT3 class cars really drive them on a track at the limit. mostly you see those cars to drive to a track on street rubber, it is a rare bird to see such a newer RS arriving on a trailer, on hoosiers and then driven with lap times faster than an average spec boxster goes around.
all i`m saying - i had same idea to go after a car like this but as it takes more time, it seems as less and less attractive option.

I was there Sunday, but could only do a half day since I was exhausted. I worked all night Saturday and drove straight to the track from work on Sunday morning! Crazy, I know.

Very nice purchase! Congrats on the car and I too can't wait to hear more feedback. I've thought about the upgrade but am still so happy with my car that I'll wait a while Enjoy!

Beautiful car and from the looks of your avatar photo a potentially expensive pull up bar!

kyrock, that car is a great find, the modifications are tasty, full leather and carbon bits, nice. The exhaust system is nice too, wheels are super nice and light.

Be aware that the 3.8 GT3 RS clutch has failed on many people tracking their cars. I would do preventive maintenance, and put a new 4.0RS clutch kit rather than waiting for the OEM to fail.

I was talking to GT3DE this weekend, as he has both the 3.8 GT3 and RS, and the biggest difference is the short R&P gear, the RS goes through gears quicker, and it is more involving to drive.

I think that going from a GT3 to a GT3 RS was a better decision than getting a GT3 RS 2 years ago, so you will appreciate the differences much more.

Congratulations.

Congrats. Planning on switching to RS final drive ratio (3.89 vs 3.44 for base '3) someday.

Absolutely love the wheels!

KY - bring that bad boy out to Las Colinas and we will drive the "michael schumacher" driving course again and scare everyone in the business park. Nice job - amazing car.
