I know how you feel. I was harassing Tom at Champion almost every day for updates every time my car was there. The results are well worth it.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe I've seen your GT2 at Motorsport.
Didn't you go with the new fenders and wider front tires?
Btw your GT2 is a monster from all Louis and Vic have told me.
I have total confidence with the guys at Motorsport. I've known Louis since
1995. He was my crew chief when we raced the 993 3.8RSR.

Thank you on both accounts.
Today I am very proud to see our country give all the due recognition, respect and honor to the military for their sacrifice, service and dedication.
In my day you considered a loser for having served. When you came home you were made to feel ashamed to wear your uniform especially if you were from a big city.
My family immigrated here from communist oppression. When drafted my father told me, "serve proudly the country that gave us freedom".
Long story short, the US Army gave this animal the opportunity of an education and became a physician.
Anyway sorry about the tangent.

Yes, our cars were in there at the same time at one point. I did a quick look over on your car back in late March/April. I've gone in quite a different direction from Paul Ganther but a quick glance would not reveal it. The Champion team have been very good with my build. There is only one other team/Motorsport entity in the US I would consider working with and they are Honda guys near Milwaukee.

I'm sure your chassis will have some tricks they learned from my car, plus new ones I can probably incorporate in the future, just like what they learned from P.G.'s car. You will be very happy with the Ohlins kit- that is the standard in my opinion. If you talk to Louis you can ask him about setup on my car- the initial alignment with the lower chassis height and aggressive camber, plus the valving we ended up with that evening at PBIR. That would be a good start for you.

My motto with my cars is the old Peanuts one- "Speak softly and carry a big stick.". I won't hit you over the head with bright colors and over the top body mods, but it will be much quicker than anyone expects at the track. How do like my hitch?

Are you getting the Champion suspension parts too? Those are WINNER in my book, I wanted them, but I had bought ERP arms a few months beforehand. Louis says the Heims are better on the Champion ones, and the cinch bolt instead of the locknut is much better in my opinion.

Here's a couple of quick updates from the guys over at Champion. Looks like they've got the engine ready to go back into the car! Hopefully we'll get some results from the dyno very soon.

They also had a chance to get the carpet back in the car....still fits great even without all the foam...

I think Orbit and Champion compete for the whitest cleanest floor.
Champion might have the edge right now.

Juan, try to make it to Sebring June 9th, PBIR 13th and Homestead16th
