Can't speak for everyone, but I'm usually too lazy to set up the camera and download/edit the footage. Maybe I'll try to dig up my GoPro and get it in the car for the next couple of days

360 video First time at COTA with Austin SchnellFest 2018
Lonestar PCA, HillCountry PCA, Maverick PCA, and BMW Club of Houston put on a fantastic event this past weekend in Austin at the awesome Circuit of the Americas. My first time there with my '07 GT3. In one of my first sessions, I decided to try out a new toy: an Insta360 One 360° camera mounted to my front towhook.
Please be gentle on critique of my line and speeds! I got a lot faster by the end of the weekend.
Mounting the camera couldn't have been easier. My Rennline Gen 2 Folding Tow Hook has an action camera mount to which I attached a standard camera tripod mount. Camera screwed right on and was triggered via bluetooth from my phone. Sadly, Harry's Lap Timer doesn't yet support the auto-triggering of this 360 camera yet. The Insta360 one is inexpensive and makes reasonably good video with little effort. Their editing software, however, leaves a lot to be desired in terms of documentation and intuitive design (it's a literal translation from the original Mandarin Chinese!). It took a couple of days to figure out how to trim and export just one lap. But, once figured out, is relatively straightforward.
Enjoy!

Advanced
First time on the track with our 997.2 GT3. We were at Salzburgring and it was fairly crowded but still managed to have fun and bring the car back home in one piece!
Enjoy!

Well Done!
Hard to tell, but looks like you drove will all the traction control off!
At Mosport I drive with only one turned off, don't want the car to live up to its name "Widowmaker"
