Default New look for 997.1 GT3

Either there are some thieves in the area of this cars listing, or the current owner knows something we don't about the advantages of removing the center section of the rear wing to improve street driving. Paste to browser:

Took me a few reads to figure out you were auto-corrected there... thieves I assume is what you meant.

Gotta say this look doesn't work for the 997.1 GT3 like it does the 997.2 RS...

That car has been for sale since last fall. I didn't inquire about it but somebody else did. The used car lot that has it explained that it was a "minor" accident that led to the rear wing being missing.

Do you know how much Porsche charges for that wing? As a famous rich guy (JP Morgan?) once said about his yacht, if you have to ask, you can't afford it.

For OEM, add a decimal place.

I wonder where ray gets these OEM wing blades for such a low price - then adds his CF work into it and still charges much less than oem???

Well, let's infer that he doesn't start with the OEM part but just makes a mold.

Im with you all the way on this but I think it is an oem piece. For example the mirrors he sells, they are infact oem pieces I know becuase I bought a set. I looked inside and they are porsche OEM pieces with part numbers and insignia

maybe he just buys them in bulk or buys scratched pieces and has them wrapped in CF. This I dont know but I do wonder how he is able to sell them for so cheep. Im told the seats shells are molds and also the cf rear intake scoops - I could be wrong about the wing blade but I do know all of the interior pieces and the mirrors for example are oem

good price. wonder about the details on the accident? what would cause a rear wing element to be detached, unless he backed into an outcropping of sorts?

Wait I just figured it out I think.....maybe Ray is stealing the center sections off of cars like this one and wrapping them in carbon for a smoking deal. Hmmmmm.......
