Correct
My '11RS was at dealer (Hennessy) a week ago and Svc advisor said there was a DME update for zero oil pressure on start up. ECU reflashed and on my way.

I just had these same warnings yesterday, SC and then the oil pressure indicator failure. Did not go away so I took the car in. I just got a call that the oil pressure sender is bad, and part will arrive Tuesday(???!!!) What, it has to come from Germany? It's not like I'm in a small town in the middle of nowhere...

I mentioned the ECU reflash just in case-should I ask for it again on Monday? I would imagine any and all issues, recalls, codes and bulletins would come up once the car is there?
CPO, only 7k miles
So I was all hung up on the oil pressure indicator being dead that I forgot to tell them about the SC warning
Temp, oil temp, oil level indicator were fine

Thnx for any xtra info

The ecu reflash was an update, so they should do it automatically.
After reflash it never happened again.

What caused it is that the car "hickups", stalls for a split second for no apparent reason and it it throws the SC failure code that goes away after restart, but sometimes it also affects the oil pressure error and that one does NOT go away after restart, you have to clear it.

In my case I was told they had to order the oil pressure sensor because it was bad...but I think I'll call on monday anyway and try to discuss it further with the tech-

Best,

That's also been written up as incorrect diagnosis.
There's a couple of GT3 engine diagnosis mistakes that have cost alternators and various electrics boxes.

I wonder if the GT3's oil pressure sensor is different from the others'?

Well, I got my car back today-I already had the WC08 Re-program DME control unit (GT3) done months ago, so it was indeed the oil pressure sensor that was cooked. As mentioned, part had to be ordered-I suppose it's different from the other engines and not that common to be in stock

Best,

JB
