Pirelli Trofeo or Michelin Sport Cup?

It really depends on driving style, intensity, and conditions. If you are running 3-5s off the top times (which, is normal) you can expect a lot more tire life. If you are running within 1s of the top times, then don't be surprised if your tire life is halved or even more. That last bit of time has a logarithmic effect on consumables consumption...
Track temperature
Hot pressure
Track surface
Alignment
Driver
Monoball or not
All make a difference, but the difference in tire wear between a 2:30 lap and a 2:20 lap is huge

Here is my right rear Trofeo and chunking after a 2 DE weekends at Motorsport Ranch. Only running about -1.5 camber in the rear and -1.2 camber in the front. Had some pretty fast and aggressive times, (1:23-1:25) so it took some pretty serious abuse. Don't really want to increase the - camber too much more so as to keep my DD tires lasting.
Agree with running them hot around 30 PSI as previously stated. They stick like glue and I highly recommend them.

2 de's and the $2500 Trofeo's fell apart? WOW...again I highly recommend Nitto NT01...or buy up Trakcars 335 Toyo RA1 rears to pair up with NT01 fronts. Less than $1000 for a set of NT01?RA1 and $1100 a set for NT01's.

1. Several have noted Trofeo R prices at 1600.00. The cheapest I can find for my .2 GT3 is 1850.00 shipped. For anyone who got them for less--where please?
2. Will R6s fit on a narrow-body non-RS .2 GT3?
3. For those running slicks, did you up your spring rates and did that mean a re-valve?
Thanks.

Trofeo R have very good grip, but have other problems. It is not possible to balance the tire, because rear rim keeps spinning and tire is always unbalanced. In hight speeds you got a lots of vibrations. Very hard to control the car at its limits. Unless you are doing time attack or some sort of racing, I wouldn't recommend to buy Troveo R.

Agree with the tire spinning issue. Two things to help: try mounting with hairspray as the lubricant--it dries and adds some "stick," and I just swap right to left rears every track day or two, and they never spin more than an inch or two as the next day they just spin right back the other way.
